Legal & Compliance

The KYP services explicitly state that document authenticity and integrity are verified from information available in the public domain with the consent of the respective individuals. Following verification, KYP reports are generated incorporating screenshots or videos to enhance data authenticity. However, these reports do not certify organ transplant execution or retrieval. If organ transplant or retrieval is based solely on KYP reports, they do not hold legal standing in a court of law.

The company adheres to the most effective methods available in the public domain, including KYC guidelines from RBI and Digital Certificate guidelines from MCA, to ensure the authenticity and integrity of verified documents. In accordance with the THOTA Act, the verified information may be incorporated into relevant forms such as Form 1, Form 4, or Form 11, as stipulated under the THOTA Act, 1994, and its amendments.

The Know Your Patient (KYP) reports do not encompass the entire spectrum of organ transplant activities. These reports focus on verifying the authenticity and integrity of records provided during the verification process. The company generates KYP reports based on provided records and internal verification, taking legal responsibility for the authenticity and integrity of these reports, provided they are generated with the patient's consent.

Services & Process

A minimum of 5 company employees is engaged in the verification of documents for each individual case. The process is intricate and not streamlined, resulting in routine Know Your Patient (KYP) reports being generated within a timeframe of 16-32 business hours. However, for exceptionally urgent cases, the generation of KYP reports can be expedited, taking a minimum of 5-6 business hours.

Certainly yes, the company can deliver the KYP reports within 5-6 hours in urgent cases. However, it may require cooperation and support from the hospital to expedite the process effectively.

The KYP services are relevant to hospitals, doctors, and patients. When a hospital expresses interest in adopting KYP services for all their organ failure patients, the company establishes a billing mechanism through a mutual agreement that outlines the terms and conditions. For specific individual patients, the company invoices the patient directly or through the hospital, based on the available arrangement.

Security & Trust

The company implements rigorous background verification checks for its employees prior to assigning any tasks. Given the sensitivity of Know Your Patient (KYP) services, the generation of KYP reports requires approval from top management. In the agreement with hospitals for KYP services, the designated person from the company, authorized to sign KYP reports, is explicitly mentioned. The company adheres to a standardized protocol for KYP report generation.

Hospitals have the authority to establish a legal framework with terms and conditions for KYP services in collaboration with the company. Once both the hospital and the company agree to their mutual terms and conditions, the KYP services can be initiated. Furthermore, the company is engaged in AYUDAAN services within the state of Maharashtra, which is an integral part of the THOTA Act.

The Know Your Partner (KYP) report contains highly sensitive information. The company takes consent from the respective individual during report generation. Technical & Operational

The KYP reports encompass comprehensive evidence in the form of detailed screenshots, images, or videos, all captured with the consent of the respective individual. This evidence is securely stored in digital formats for a minimum of 15 years. In instances where it is required, and with explicit consent, the evidence will be shared with the designated evidence seeker.

The authenticity and integrity of the KYP report carry significant weight, and the reports are produced within a maximum of 24-48 business hours. Despite the hospital's direct interactions with patients, the decision to grant permission for a transplant should not solely be based on the KYP reports. The hospital is responsible for verifying identity documents. However, the inclusion of images, videos, and statements for identity verification adds value to the individual documents.

The Know Your Patient (KYP) services cater to the healthcare industry, and the company is obligated to preserve records in digital format for a minimum of 15 years. The extended duration of maintaining records in digital form incurs additional costs. The higher cost is attributed to the necessity of preserving records digitally for 15 years before archiving, aligning with the requirements of the IT Act 2005 and EHR Standard 2016.
